National Badger Week 24th June - 1st July

This week is National Badger Week. The Badger Trust and it’s supporting groups will be holding lots of events across the country to promote greater awareness of badgers including badger watches, lectures, book debates and school presentations. The Badger Trust will also be launching its new “Give Badgers a Brake” campaign during National Badger Week to raise awareness of the danger of badgers being killed on our roads”.

To celebrate we are holding a special Badger Week barbecue at Thorndon Country Park South on Sunday 25th June starting at 11 am. Please come along and meet our group and learn about badgers and what we do. Full details can be found in our events diary.
