Come and meet us and our Patron, Mike Dilger (TV presenter), at the RSPB Canvey Island Wildlife Day.
Entrance to the event is free and there will be activities and attractions for all ages. Traditional arts and crafts will be on display with many chances to "have a go". Pond dipping, mini beast hunting and nature trails will be available to showcase the local wildlife. Canvey's Big Local Committee will be bringing a mobile climbing wall, which will give visitors the chance try a new outdoor pursuit and get unrivalled views across the marshes.
During the day Mike Dilger will be giving some guided tours of the nature reserve where you will be able to learn about the wildlife in the area and get to ask him questions about all of the flora and fauna.
There is limited parking available at the site. A park and ride service will be operational from Waterside Farm Sports Centre, kindly facilitated by Castle Point Transport Museum.
